What is Vegas Uncork’d?

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), anchored by Bellagio, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand and Wynn Las Vegas, are teaming up for the 3rd Annual Vegas Uncork’d, presented by Bon Appétit magazine, May 7-10, 2009. Vegas Uncork’d, the world’s most exciting culinary event, is a four-day, high-profile extravaganza that will feature an array of one-of-a-kind and immersive experiences with world class celebrity chefs, vintners and the biggest names in the culinary arts.  All set against the exciting backdrop of Las Vegas.

Is there a dress code for the events?

There is no enforced dress code, however, we do ask you dress in keeping with the nature of the event. Shorts and t-shirts are not considered appropriate attire for evening events. Please also note that some events (including the Grand Tasting and the Rising Star Culinary Pro-Am) are outdoors so please check the weather and dress appropriately.

Can I purchase tickets to events at the door?

Grand Tasting tickets will be sold at the door for $175 per person based on availability. All other tickets must be purchased in advance.

When will tickets be mailed out?

Tickets will be mailed out 30-45 days prior to the date of the event.

If I do not live in the United States, how will I receive my tickets?

International residents can pick up their tickets as the entrance of each individual event for which they have purchased tickets. Please print out your confirmation email and bring a picture ID and the credit card you used for your purchase. Please present these items to the ticket taker at each event you are attending.

Can I get a refund should I decide not to attend an event I have already purchased ticket for? Can I switch tickets for another event?

Sorry. All tickets are non-refundable nor can they be exchanged for a different event.

Can I request a menu substitution?

No. There are no substitutions. All menus are at the sole discretion of the host chef(s).

Can I bring my children or anyone under 21 to an event?

No one under the age of 21, including children in strollers accompanying their parents, will be admitted.

Are events wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all events are wheelchair accessible. However, please note that in the case of the Grand Tasting, which is a non-seated, walk-around event, that guests will have to maneuver between crowds to the various food and wine stations.
